Eric “ZORK” Alan, Slam Poetry

Eric “Zork” Alan, a six-time National Slam Poet competitor, is probably best know for standing on chairs. Zork has performed at most of the most renowned poetry venues in the country including Chicago’s legendary Green Mill where slam poetry started. He has hosted ZorkSlams spotlighting student poets from Salt Lake City, UT to Portland, ME and he has even taught high school teachers how to teach slam poetry to students at college campuses coast to coast. He hosts Westchester County’s two largest poetry series and the public access show: EVERYone is a poet.
Zork is also SlamMaster for Westchester County, NY Nationally Certified Slam Venue and is the only National Slam Poet on the official Westchester Arts Council Artist Roster.
